My Fun Day Out with Cooper at OHSO Brewery & Distillery in Paradise Valley, AZ!

Hey everyone! I want to tell you all about a super fun day I had with my Cooper, the golden retriever I’m training as a mobility service dog. We went to a cool place called OHSO Brewery & Distillery right here in Paradise Valley, Arizona!

OHSO is this awesome spot where people can go to eat great food and drink different kinds of beers that they make right there! It’s not just any restaurant—it's also a place where you can see how they make beer. Pretty neat, huh?

Now, taking Cooper out isn’t just for fun; it’s part of his training to be a service dog. We need to make sure he can behave well in places where there are lots of people, noises, and yummy smells. And guess what? Cooper did amazing at OHSO! He stayed calm, sat by my side.

At OHSO, we sat on the patio, which is a great spot for dog friends. I had a delicious burger, and Cooper had some special dog-friendly treats I brought along. The people at OHSO are really nice to dogs and even brought Cooper a bowl of water to drink!

Every time we go out, Cooper learns something new. This time, he practiced staying calm even when a server dropped a tray nearby—what a champ! This helps him get ready to be the best helper for someone who needs him.

What I really like about OHSO Brewery & Distillery is not just the food or the beer (which are both awesome!), but how welcoming they are to people and their dog pals. It’s important for service dogs like Cooper to visit places like this so they can learn to behave well in any situation.
