Most of the Gilbert homes I walk into have a dog and at least one kid under ten. That combination raises the bar on everything.
A dog who jumps is a nuisance when it’s your friend at the door. He’s a problem when it’s a four-year-old getting knocked flat. A dog who guards a bone is manageable until a toddler crawls over to see what he’s got. A dog who bolts out the front door is a bad afternoon until the front door is opening every ten minutes because your kid’s friends are in and out all day. That’s the work: a dog who’s reliable in a house where the noise level is unpredictable and the front door never stops. What I see in Gilbert homes
A family called me about their doodle. He ruled the house. He jumped on everyone. He pulled on the leash. He did whatever he wanted, whenever he wanted. By the end of the training, he was just a great dog.
Another family had a Heeler mix on a horse property. He harassed the horses. He jumped on company. A heeler in with horses is a kick to the head waiting to happen. By the end, he was leaving the horses alone and minding himself around company.

We work the Riparian Preserve loops, Freestone Park, the grass at Gilbert Regional Park, the Heritage District patios on a Friday night, and sometimes the sidewalk outside the fence at Cosmo—one of the best places in the East Valley to teach a dog to stay calm while other dogs lose their minds twenty feet away.

Every program is custom, and they run from about five weeks for house and door manners up to nine weeks for a dog you can take anywhere. Puppy training, obedience, behavior work, and PTSD service dog training all included.
