Peoria runs from the old part of town by Grand Avenue all the way up to Lake Pleasant. The south side is older neighborhoods. The north side is Vistancia, Westwing, and miles of new houses backed up to open desert. In between are the ball fields at the Sports Complex, the patios at P83, and the outdoor mall at Park West. A lot of families here. A lot of new dogs.
A dog who jumps and scratches you every time you come home is not fun to live with. A dog who will not go outside to do her business is worse. And a puppy who already went through one trainer and is still out of control needs somebody who trains where the puppy actually lives. I come to your house and we start right there. And I train you too, because you are the one holding the leash after I leave.
What I see on Peoria homes
A woman called me about her rescued mini English bulldog. The dog jumped up on her and scratched her. She did not listen at all. And she went to the bathroom in the house every day, because she would not go outside. I fixed all of it. She goes outside now, she keeps her feet on the floor, and she listens.
Another family had an unruly puppy. They had already been through one trainer, and it did not stick. That happens more than you would think. A lot of training works at the trainer's place and falls apart at home. So we trained at home first. By the end, we were sitting on restaurant patios and walking around the outdoor mall with her.

Once your dog is doing well at home, we take the training out into the real world. We sit on a patio at P83. We walk around Park West on a Saturday. We walk the path at Rio Vista Park when the ball fields are full. We walk past the fence at the Pioneer dog park. And in March, we stand outside the Sports Complex when the spring training crowd lets out.
