Your dog doesn’t lose his mind at a training facility
He loses it when the Amazon driver hits the gate. When a coyote cuts through the wash behind your block wall at 5am. When you try to walk him down 44th Street and he spots another dog a hundred yards out.
That’s where the behavior lives, so that’s where it gets fixed. I do in-home dog training across Phoenix. No boarding, no drop-off, no facility your dog will never see again. I train your dog in your house, in your yard, on your street, and I train you at the same time, because you’re the one living with him after I leave.
Phoenix dogs have Phoenix problems
The pool. Most owners assume their dog knows how to get out. Most dogs don’t. A dog that falls in chasing a lizard and can’t find the step is a real emergency, and pool safety is built into my programs for a reason.
Six usable hours of daylight in July. Phoenix bans dogs from city trails once it hits 100 degrees, and Echo Canyon, Cholla, and the Piestewa Peak summit trail don’t allow dogs at all, any time of year. So all summer your dog gets a short early walk and then sits inside with energy he has nowhere to put. That energy comes out as barking, chewing, and door-dashing. Training handles that better than another lap around the block.
Block walls, side gates, and delivery drivers. Phoenix yards look secure until your dog learns to go over, under, or straight out the gate the landscapers left open. And in Arcadia, Willo, Coronado, anywhere with alley access, he’s been rehearsing that bark at the fence ten times a week for a year. That’s not a bad dog. That’s a well-practiced habit.

Once your dog is solid at home, home stops being the test. We take it to the canal path behind Arcadia, the grass at Encanto Park, the trails around Papago Park, and a Camelback Road patio on a busy Saturday, because a down-stay only counts when there’s a french fry on the ground and a golden retriever losing it at the next table.
