SURPRISE DOG TRAINING

In-Home Dog Training in Surprise, AZ

I come to your house. Your dog learns where the problems actually happen.

26+ years in the Valley | Most dogs done in 4–5 sessions | Lifetime support, seven days a week

A dog park in every neighborhood, and a dog on every sidewalk. In Surprise, a dog who loses it around other dogs misses out on all of it.

Surprise grew fast, and most of it is new. Big planned neighborhoods with sidewalks, pocket parks, and a dog park inside the community. Two Sun City communities on the north side, full of retirees and small dogs. The White Tanks out the back window. Spring training at the stadium in March. Wherever you walk here, you are going to pass other dogs.

A dog who is reactive to other dogs turns every walk into a fight. You cross the street. You turn around. You skip the dog park. After a while, you stop walking him at all. That is no way to live with a dog, and it is not good for the dog either. I come to your house and we train right there. Then we take it out onto your sidewalk and past the dog park, because that is where the problem shows up. And I train you too, because you are the one holding the leash after I leave.

What I see on Surprise homes

A family called me about their Goldendoodle. He was highly reactive to other dogs. Every walk was a struggle, and the dog park was out of the question. We did the training at home and on his own streets. Now he goes to his neighborhood dog park and has the time of his life.

A woman in a senior living community called me about her Papillon. The dog was reactive to other dogs, and in a place full of other people and other dogs, that was a problem every day. Now she follows her mom everywhere, and she has no issues with other people or other dogs.

Two very different dogs with the same problem. Reactivity to other dogs is the call I get most from Surprise.

Where I work in Surprise

Marley Park, Rancho Gabriela, Greer Ranch, Sierra Montana, Asante, Surprise Farms, Litchfield Manor, Copper Canyon Ranch, Zanjero Trails, Ashton Ranch, Royal Ranch, Mountain Vista Ranch, Desert Oasis, Kingswood Parke, Cortessa, Sun Village, Arizona Traditions, Sun City Grand, Sun City Festival, and the Original Town Site. Once your dog is doing well at home, we take the training out into the real world. We walk past the fence at your community dog park. We walk the path around the lake at Surprise Community Park. We walk the tree-lined streets in Marley Park. We sit on a patio at Prasada. And in March, we walk past the stadium when the spring training crowd is out.

Pick the program that fits

Every program is custom, and they run from about five weeks for house and door manners up to nine weeks for a dog you can take anywhere. Puppy training, obedience, behavior work, and PTSD service dog training all included.
